When we first started Recovery Collective our goal was to be able to provide a platform for artists to showcase their expression to a wider audience. To shine light on any like minded creative that had the ability to bring us into their world. 

Being in this position has given us a chance to witness some extraordinary talented artists, who we’ve seen blossom from young passionate individuals into a force to be reckoned with not just within Aus but across the globe. 

Inline with the origins of our existence we present our latest compilation series designed to take us back to our roots and showcase some of the finest up and coming artists this scene has to offer: Emergence!

In philosophy, systems theory, science, and art - emergence occurs when an entity is observed to have properties its parts do not have on their own. These properties or behaviors emerge only when the parts interact in a wider whole. 

Our first edition of Emergence includes Connor Mac, Fabrication, Harry Moody, Jack O’Connell, Kalkara, ANOMALEE, Snillum & TOYO. 

We have hand picked these talented minds and have brought them together to form a fine selection of genre exploring artists, shining the spotlight on them as they very well deserve.

Steyoyoke Recordings is notorious for high quality music and evolving sound. Constantly charging forward, Steyoyoke is proud to present Nick Devon’s newest EP ’The Poem’. Boasting three originals and one live mix, this powerful release is destined to turn heads.
Nick Devon’s composition ’The Poem’ strikes a deep vein with haunting vocals and elaborate, low-pitched instruments. The original mix featuring Miroir is a thought-provoking affair, it’s elaborate sonic qualities bound to stir the souls of deep house lovers.
The second track, titled ‘Ode’, is a spirited weave of Nick’s signature sounds that is rich in variation. Contrasting echoing strings with a deep and energetic bass line, this beauty of a track is the musical embodiment of vitality.
‘Anything’ featuring Shane Blackshaw comes two-fold as an original track and a stunning live mix version. The vocals unambiguously forge forward, ever-evolving and challenging the status quo, while a dissonant melody structure holds true to deep house. The Live Mix brings an emotional layer of complexity, adding on a sharp and more hardened demeanour that coalesces with the original into a boundaryless state of pure musicality.

Now in its fourth year and with one album already under their belt, the Steyoyoke Recordings family are finally ready to follow things up with their second album ‘Coalescence’. Conveying the strong bonds that tie all the artists together, ‘Coalescence’ is a title that directly acknowledges all the different artists contributing and unifying their individual elements, all coming together to form a greater whole.

John Lead’s ‘Desert Knights’ is a mystifying adventure materialized into magical fragments of sounds & textures. Mesmerizing and groovy, this 6 tracks EP drives the listener in a mysterious and enchanting space desert. The eponymous track invites our ears to a deep & melodic trip. Along this piece, ‘Apollo 11’ entrains the auditor to a direct trip to magical cosmos power.

Mynox’s interpretation of ‘Desert Knights’ is driven by growling basslines, frenetic arpeggios & organic percussions. RELEASE NOTE: 
Greek duo Dizharmonia mystically dip their paintbrush into sounds of a faraway time and space, rooting them into a dark and ethereal present. With this EP, they travel towards deep realms of the ancient world, carrying listeners along a misty progressive trip. Rather than the destination, it is the atmospheric movement of the journey which creates meaning and leaves our minds full of dreams. Telos takes flight on cascading synths that seductively curl like the rolling hills of glistening Mediterranean islands. Fos is an evocative march forward to the tune of sharp percussions and acid rhythms. Alexandria concludes the trip with a dark and glitchy groove, gliding off in the distance guided by the ancient Alexandrian lighthouse. Fellow dreamers encountered along the road’s twists and turns enhance it with more magic; French artists Pandhora pick up the tempo with their trademark soulful psychedelia, while deep tech maestro Veytik carves a haunting space for vocals. Founded in 2014, Recovery Collective was not just built on the foundation of music but on the promise of opportunity. Our ethos has always been clear: to discover, nurture, and promote talent, ensuring that great music always finds its audience.

After working with over 120 artists on 130+ releases, our repertoire boasts diverse genres, innovative collaborations with artists and labels, along with tracks that have left an indelible mark on the music industry. 

From being awarded the position of Beatport's Top 3 label for 2020 (following revered Afterlife and Diynamic imprints), and 4th highest selling release of the year - along with a large portfolio of accomplishments and achievements since its inception - Recovery Collective has grown from a fledgling label to a global powerhouse.

Bringing together artists from all corners of the world, the label has championed artists from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to showcase their unique talents on a global stage. From Australia to Ukraine, Brazil, France, Lebanon and Thailand. We really have created a community of artists that today we are ever so proud of.

To celebrate a decade of operation, Recovery Collective will be embarking on a 10 Year Anniversary World Tour throughout 2024, seeking to revisit this incredible journey, bringing together our esteemed artists, dedicated fans, and the larger music community.

This tour will span multiple cities, each chosen for its unique connection to our label and its artists. Every showcase will be curated meticulously, reflecting the ethos of Recovery Collective while offering attendees an unforgettable musical experience.
