Introducing snilluM and the story of his Detour.

A 5-track EP illustrating the breakaway and deviation from a previous direction, compiled with a range of deep, house and electro inspired techno compositions. Taking you on a journey to a place of his you have never been before.

The title record, 'Detour', features a high-sitting harp which drives the track along with the pluck of the tech bass and crisp of the hats. Setting a nice opening to the EP and preparing you for the rest of the journey.

'Sharka' picks up the energy a little more with the minimal-esque rolling groove, joined by an array of kinetic percussion and drum patterns to fill before the slight synth works its way into the breakdown and finale.

The pace is well and truly there by 'Vantage', the third track to the EP and one with a little heavier stomp and emphasis on the offbeat techno inspired unn 'tiss. The pads linger in the distance and work well sitting amongst a heap of glitchy arpeggiated sounds.

'Refresh' hits us with an acidy underlaid bass that filters in and out of heavily delayed stabs, building to more of a funk-fused bass.

Almost like liquid, the wub-roaring crunch number 'Night Train' then brings the release home with the tangled synthesis and trippy elements. Wrapping the whole EP in a bow and showing us the true colour and depth of his productions and what we can expect from him in the future.

Our ethos has always been clear: to discover, nurture, and promote talent, ensuring that great music always finds its audience.

After working with over 120 artists on 130+ releases, our repertoire boasts diverse genres, innovative collaborations with artists and labels, along with tracks that have left an indelible mark on the music industry. 

From being awarded the position of Beatport's Top 3 label for 2020 (following revered Afterlife and Diynamic imprints), and 4th highest selling release of the year - along with a large portfolio of accomplishments and achievements since its inception - Recovery Collective has grown from a fledgling label to a global powerhouse.

Bringing together artists from all corners of the world, the label has championed artists from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to showcase their unique talents on a global stage. From Australia to Ukraine, Brazil, France, Lebanon and Thailand. We really have created a community of artists that today we are ever so proud of.

To celebrate a decade of operation, Recovery Collective will be embarking on a 10 Year Anniversary World Tour throughout 2024, seeking to revisit this incredible journey, bringing together our esteemed artists, dedicated fans, and the larger music community.

This tour will span multiple cities, each chosen for its unique connection to our label and its artists. Every showcase will be curated meticulously, reflecting the ethos of Recovery Collective while offering attendees an unforgettable musical experience.
