AlpaKa MuziK is happy to present another wonderful podcast on our AlpaKast series. This one is brought to us by legendary German producer, DJ and label owner ADAMSON. 

Imagine you're shooting through the flashing interior of a giant pinball machine. Imagine the theme of this machine is changing every time you bounce off one of its slingshots and kickers, from Star Wars to Pink Panther, from Mad Max to He-Man. Imagine your head feels as if every cavity inside it is filled with a fizzy, hi-proof drink while you're being catapulted through this kaleidoscopic trip. Well, now you got an idea what it feels like when Adamson takes over.

Considering his German-Polish-Spanish roots and the vast bandwidth of genres he's been releasing as a producer and performing as a DJ and live act (@alic) since 2001, there's only one label that fits his highly dynamic style: 🦎 Chameleon Techno 🦎

Just like that animal, Adamson adapts to the different vibes of a dancefloor and the ever evolving environment of today’s music landscape – and just like that animal he’s pretty funky and alien. Running a label since 2007 (@digital-diamonds-netlabel), Adamson is tirelessly digging the underground for fresh talents and new trends. Some of them he curates on @psychedelictechnooutpost. In other words, he’s always good for a musical surprise and an unexpected twist.

As a member of the well-known Psy-Techno Duo Alic, he soon gained a widespread reputation within the Psychedelic Techno and Dark Minimal scene, which lead him to audiences all over the world, including Burning Man (USA), AfrikaBurn (South Africa), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Bucht der Träumer (Germany), Antaris Festival (Germany), SUTI Festival (Portugal), Barka (Cracow, Poland), Off The Radar Festival (New Zealand), Radion (Amsterdam, Netherlands) , Waldfrieden (Germany), Moyn Festival (Germany), Club Charlotte (Germany), Anomalie Art Club (Berlin, Germany), Elipamanoke (Leipzig, Germany), Magnet Club (Istanbul, Turkey), Fusion Club (Germany), Slakt Husset (Stockholm, Sweden), EKA Palace (Lisbon, Portugal), Art Club TLV (Israel),…
Starting as DJ and producer simultaneously in 2001, he understood the art of transferring his experiences as passionate dancer into sounds and arrangements instinctively. The need for beauty in sound combined with a driving but sensual bass drum builds the core of his production skills, while as a DJ he combines deep bass driven tracks with more melodic atmospheres and unusual elements to sophisticated uniqueness..
In comparison to his activities with Alic, Adamson explores with this side project other styles of electronic music, an intense journey that leads him into the realms of (Chameleon) Techno. But still, he remains confident to his curriculum and manages to spice up sets of clean beats with funky, sexy elements, always aware of his roots and the needs of a dedicated dancer.

Using the alias Adamson he publishes music on the well-known label Digital Diamonds, based in Berlin but reaching out to the whole planet. Gaining much attention for his skills as producer and DJ, he soon multiplied bookings that again drove him around the globe, performing in South America as well as at Afrika Burn and Burning Man, Bucht der Träumer Festival, Ozora Festival and many more.
Adamson lives music as a passion and transfers this state of mind into tracks as well as DJ sets. On stage, he is a performer knowing how to drive an audience, how to transfer desire not only in music, but also in actions and movement. A born performer. Today, Adamson is an explorer, in terms of music. Always interested in new sounds and techniques, he loves diving into the seas of possibilities, going deep to the ground to discover sounds that he knows to shape into diamonds when he emerges.

Founded in 2014, Recovery Collective was not just built on the foundation of music but on the promise of opportunity. Our ethos has always been clear: to discover, nurture, and promote talent, ensuring that great music always finds its audience.

After working with over 120 artists on 130+ releases, our repertoire boasts diverse genres, innovative collaborations with artists and labels, along with tracks that have left an indelible mark on the music industry. 

From being awarded the position of Beatport's Top 3 label for 2020 (following revered Afterlife and Diynamic imprints), and 4th highest selling release of the year - along with a large portfolio of accomplishments and achievements since its inception - Recovery Collective has grown from a fledgling label to a global powerhouse.

Bringing together artists from all corners of the world, the label has championed artists from diverse backgrounds, enabling them to showcase their unique talents on a global stage. From Australia to Ukraine, Brazil, France, Lebanon and Thailand. We really have created a community of artists that today we are ever so proud of.

To celebrate a decade of operation, Recovery Collective will be embarking on a 10 Year Anniversary World Tour throughout 2024, seeking to revisit this incredible journey, bringing together our esteemed artists, dedicated fans, and the larger music community.
