When asked by electric guitarist Aart Strootman to write a new work, I reverted to one of my Graduales for voices. For Aart Strootman uses the principle of change ringing, just like the first Graduale: a maximum of combinations with a limited number of bells.

According Wikipedia: Ambient music is music that is designed to be part of the environment, heard but not specifically listened to.
The music which goes under the project name Synop is NOT designed this way!
Music made from the Tech City of The Netherlands: Eindhoven. Also the city of one of the first Electronic Music Pioneers, Kid Baltan and Tom Dissevelt 1959, worked with looping tapes and generated some of the first electronic music.
My music that goes under the name Synop is not tape based but designed and made with a large amount of virtual instruments and the Maschine.
Publishing music started with the more beat oriented project Red Pony (published at Bandcamp) and changed with the name SynoP to more dark and atmospheric sounds
