In Love Again was originally released on Untracked in 2010 on my 'All I Ever Wanted' Ep - the original is about 108 bpm so I decided to make a faster version so more people can play it in clubs.

"I recorded this mix during the last days of summer. I spent a lot of the summer in Europe, gigging and swimming along the coasts of Italy. I wanted to preserve those feelings of joy, tranquillity and lushness in a soundtrack that could be revisited any time of the year. The mix ends on a special track by Eli Escobar and I called “Take Me,” released earlier this year."

Dj/ producer Kim Anh has been serving her diva-soaked and acid-laced sound for well over a decade. Once dubbed by Vice as a “club queen” she has been a long-time figure in the underground queer club scene. With appearances on several labels such as Gigolo Int’l, Afro Acid and Robert Johnson Live she is now at the helm of her New York based record label Can U Not Talk.

Kicking off the EP is the title track ‘Zoned’ which as the name implies is an ode to being ‘too far gone’. With a pitched down vocal, disorientating chords, heavy kick-drum and yearning male larynx hollering ‘music is the place to be, want it right to hold me free’, the track definitely takes you to a deeper place. Just before it gets any darker a dose of sax licks come in to inject some groove and light to proceedings. Sounding like a long lost 8-mile beatdown track that wouldn’t be amiss on an old KDJ B-side or LP a la Silentintroduction or Forevernevermore, this is definitely one for the real heads with the lights down low…

Next up is ‘Brazilian Nuts’ though to give a pre-warning this is not a samba-fuelled production as the title would suggest. With a warped, ocean-deep bass plunging the depths, heavy handclaps and an eerie vox, the track starts off with a deep and atmospheric aura. However, an element of surprise is thrown in when a Brazilian voice interjects adding a glimmer of light, which is further enhanced when crystal synths glide in contrasting against the deeper undertones – building to an ethereal breakdown where the bottomless bass, haunting vox and crystalline synth interpolate effortlessly. Danny Berman aka Red Rack'em is described by Juno Records as 'one of the most respected figures in UK underground house circles'. Creator of classics 'Wonky Bassline Disco Banger' (hammered by DJ Harvey, Moodymann and even Elton John), 'In Love Again', 'How I Program', 'Kalimba', 'Tomato Pope', he's also a much loved broadcaster working with SWU.FM, Rinse FM, WWFM and NTS and guest spots on BBC Radio 1 for Pete Tong, Mistajam and Gilles Peterson. He's been even more busy during the pandemic supporting other artists with his 'How I Program' music producer community.

Since returning to the UK (after 8 years in Berlin), he's been releasing killer records like 'Wonky Techno Banger', 'Overthinking' and his Red Baron collab with Ron Basejam from Crazy P (huge support from Gerd Janson, Avalon Emerson and more), as well as undertaking huge tours of USA, India and Asia playing at clubs like Tag in Chengdu (Chinas Berghain), Rhonda in LA (one of the hottest pan sexual parties in the US) and Smart Bar in Chicago.

He's a super adaptable DJ, just as comfortable playing blazing disco boogie at Pickle Factory in London, deep house at TV Lounge in Detroit or raw swingy techno at Mothers Finest in Berlin.
