Solid State released a great track called Philly Live on his label All Out War in 2010 and I played it a lot on my radio show and at gigs.  Here's the story of the track..

‘Philly Live’, a fictitious performance by a nameless Bronx DJ, allegedly recorded at a live hip-hop jam in 1980! The chaotic re-winding intro and MC announcement builds to a killer Philly Disco groove, complete with spin-backs and other turntable trickery, heading to an all-out vocal climax before the virtual DJ finally mixes out and presses ‘stop’...

Around the time of the release, Solid asked me to give it a little once over so I added additional cut ups and FX and tweeked it a bit for extra dancefloor domination. My edit was never released and I recently discovered it on an old hard drive so here it is in full downloadable wav quality.
