My studios name is kELLEY. kELLEYJ  is the musical architect and relentless creative force behind Kingstead Studios L.L.C.—a visionary genre-transcending composer, and full-spectrum producer whose output defies categorization and embraces the entire spectrum of musical expression. Performing under his own name, kELLEYJ is not just an artist—he is a mission-driven creator whose ethos is rooted in discipline, versatility, and an unshakable commitment to the craft.

Every composition bearing the kELLEYJ signature is composed, written, arranged, recorded, mixed, and mastered solely by Jerry Kelley, the man behind the moniker. There are no ghostwriters, co-producers, or assembly-line formulas here—only pure, unfiltered creativity refined through experience, training, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence. His workflow is direct and decisive, built on a “no frills, no shortcuts” mindset honed from years of service and self-reliance.

As a trained trombonist, kELLEYJ brings a musician’s discipline and classical sensibility to his process. His formative years include performing with numerous bands across multiple duty stations during his tenure in the U.S. Army, where he developed a deep respect for musical structure, unity, and performance under pressure. This military background instilled in him not only technical rigor but also a mission-first attitude—one that now fuels his leadership within Kingstead Studios L.L.C.

kELLEYJ does not limit himself to a single genre. He is a genre-fluid composer, fluent in gospel, hip-hop, orchestral scores, country, EDM, jazz, soul, rock, reggae, ambient, and experimental music. If it can be imagined, kELLEYJ can produce it. He has an uncanny ability to shape-shift between styles while preserving emotional integrity and thematic coherence. His compositions are often cinematic in depth and scope, yet accessible in tone—crafted for both intimate storytelling and expansive sonic journeys.I have written, and composed over 4000 songs and it’s time to do something with them. I do this because I enjoy it.
