Nzwane Scotchman Ngozo aka Red I Scorch is a Tswanncehall reggae artist, song writer producer and a Sama (SA Music awards) nominee for best reggae album, from 
North west South Africa. Born 20 june 1988 in Bekkersdal westonaria Gauteng. Moved to 
Lichtenburg with his mother in 1993 where he currently lives. Started singing at a young age and once sang in a school choir. 

Later Rose to Rastafari at the age of 16 that was around 2004 where he used to perform for the 
rasta community after every Nyahbinghi chanting session and on local talent shows and later 
establishing himself as a solo artist by the stage name Red I Scorch the original First Fire. Went to 
Botswana in 2012 to record his debut album First fire" released in 2015 with Chantty natural at Live wire records. He is one of the members and pioneers of a movement called Tswancehall, a sub-genre that was developed mainly in North west province, a style that infuses Setswana lyrics with Jamaican patois and English to come up with a unique sound rooted in African way of life.

Produced Jah house riddim in 2018 at his studio Grounded roots records, and had a big hit titled 
Magata from the riddim, which did well in the S.A reggae scene. Performed at Africa unite splash in 
cape town 2016. Shared stages with Tidal waves, Bongo riot, Ragga damdee and Tuks senganga. 
Released a single titled Upliftment time featuring Fury from Jamaica produced by Chil4ril from 
Zimbabwe. Released his second album in 2020 titled Ke tswa kgakala under his own label Grounded 
Roots Records. Currently has a new album tittled Ngatanngwe produced by lavoro duro, and executive 
producer LNT sound which was released in 2022 . And his fourth album Tshuba released January 2023.
