Exclusive Premiere: SAAND - Mysterious Power (Powel Remix)

Delve Deeper's second release of 2016 sees a debut label single from up and coming DJ & Producer Johannes with 'Turn It Around' featuring South African vocalist Hazel. 

Prague based Johannes has been producing for six years with previous releases on labels including DeepWit, Kadence, Deep Clicks amongst others as well as remixing Rishi K.'s 'Sublogical' on Delve Deeper's fifth release. Johannes teams up with Hazel (who has previously featured on labels such as Afro-House leaders MoBlack Records) to provide two different mixes of 'Turn It Around'. The 'Deep Mix' providing a infectious solid groove accompanied by the 'House Mix' that picks up the pace with layered keys and energetic percussion, both bringing different dimensions to Hazel's haunting original vocals.

Johannes has been DJing for 14 years and is a regular on the thriving Prague House circuit, but with his successful debut at 2015's Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) and a string of quality releases already scheduled for 2016 his profile is destined to grow over the next few months.

Croatian producer P-Mayer finishes off the release with a deep, percussive remix of 'Turn It Around', stripping back the vocals and adding a melodic brass lead to bring a chunky yet soulful reworking of the original.

What's in a name? Well, when you decide to call yourself Acid Bitchez, quite a lot. Harking back to a simpler time, when Chicago ruled the roost, the freshly formed duo of Juha Johnny (who eagle eared readers may remember as as one of the black-tie wearing 303-knob twiddlers in Jori Hulkkonen's Acid Symphony Orchestra) and "lyrical miracle" Jessika have made the most auspicious of debuts, landing on Tiga's Turbo imprint to take us on an acid trip of epic proportions.

Titled 'Thinking About Acid' (we're starting to notice a theme here...) their debut record has seen the label draft in fellow acid enthusiasts - the music not the drug - on remix duties with Jori Hulkkonen, General Ludd, Zia and Joeski all brought in to reshape the cut in their own image. Our pick of the bunch? Well that'd have to be Finnish super-producer Jori Hulkkonen's 303 drenched rework which we have the pleasure of unveiling today.

Marc DePulse - Animal Feat. Cari Golden (Sabb Remix)

Emerging Tunisian talent Ben Aus makes his return to Alphahouse this September with three fresh, groove led cuts, whilst label head honcho Butane steps in on remix duties.

With his debut releases coming last year on Butane's Alphahouse and Little Helpers labels, Ben’s initial foray into underground music left a lasting impression amongst many. Charted and played by tastemakers such as Anja Schneider, Leon, Matt Tolfrey, and Onno, among others, Ben’s unique and sophisticated compositions do not reflect those of an artist just beginning his career.

With ’Under Volcan’ EP set to showcase his considerable talent yet again; Aus is an emerging producer to watch, and looks to be a fixture on Butane’s Alphahouse imprint well into the future. Our Debut Transmission ‘Mention’ kicks off the release with intricately programmed drum loops, vocal shots and teasing nuances throughout to create a playful groove.
