Spanish producer Larsson delivers a deep and hypnotic 4-tracker for Fuxbau Records, marking his vinyl debut on the label. Written in the rural village where Larsson grew up, the EP carries a sense of groundedness and clarity. Created in his parents' home, surrounded by nature and far from urban distraction, the tracks reflect a setting where ideas unfold organically. The result is a tightly cut selection of groovy, rolling techno - stripped back, hypnotic, and full of tension. That contrast between calm surroundings and high-impact club energy runs through all four tracks: stripped-back yet detailed, functional yet full of soul.

Aleesandro Adriani is a busy man. Aside from running the hotly tipped Mannequin label, the Italian-born, Berlin-based artist has spent much of 2019 sharing his own haunting, synth-laden creations with the world. Fresh off the reissue of his 2016 LP 'Montagne Transparenti' and the release of his new 'Embryo' EP for Stroboscopic Artefacts, he's lined up a new full-length called 'Morphic Dreams.' Although it won't officially appear until May 17 (once again on Stroboscopic Artefacts), we debuted the driving, EBM-tinged sounds of "Raindance" on Red Bull Radio's First Floor, our weekly look at what's new in electronic music.

In the dead of night something stirred the woman from her deep sleep. She'd awoken in a hot sweat, panting heavily and unable to place the time or her location. Bleary eyed, she fumbled around for a light switch trying to bring some sense to her surroundings. As the lights began to emit a warm glow she realised she didn't recognise where she was. It wasn't even a room, there was no bed, no window, no dressing table... just an expanse of space. Panic began to set in, was it just a dream or her reality? 

On her debut record Parisian artist Dissemblance joins the dots between 80s coldwave, gloom rock and pop song writing structures; an introduction to her hazy, haunting dream world. Set for release on Alessandro Adriani's Mannequin Records, Over The Sand, uses bass guitar, drum machines and haunting vocals to create ten eerie compositions that teeter on the edges of electronic pop. In the words of the label, this is one for the optimistic goths around the globe...
