De Grandi is one-quarter of Paradoxe Club, a crew of Parisian DJs and producers whose upfront tracks have been on regular rotation on Top Flight since day one. The latest missive from their territory is De Grandi's third record, 'Paris Nord-Est,' which finds him drawing on the bug-eyed buzz of trance as much as his favored palette of global bass styles, where traces of B’more and coupé-décalé can be heard his intricate drumwork. The title track is a pure rush, welding heavy-duty bass and drums to starry synth melodies: a serotonin overload from a young master of club euphoria.
