"Five years after the first volume, ARENA01, Agva Records is back with ARENA02, a mega-pack of almost forty tracks focusing on the experimental and hybrid club scene of Latin America.

Released in 2016, the first chapter laid the foundations of the label and unveiled a solid tracklisting composed of close and local members of the collective (Defensa, EL PLVYBXY, CHLO…) and international producers (King Doudou, Bigote).

For this second edition, the label did not go easy and gathered a real festival line-up. ARENA02 features projects from all over the continent and beyond, from emerging artists to real headliners: Dengue Dengue Dengue, Lao (NAAFI, Mexico), Bungalovv (TRRUENO, Argentina), Endgame (Precious Metal, UK), Catnapp, Doxxed, Pobvio, or even the Mexican producer who signed the revival of pre-Hispanic tribal, Ozomatecuhtli. Among others!"

From Buenos Aires, Remisería Temperley is born from the reinterpretation of sudakas percussive rhythms such as chacarera, malambo, murga and batucadas, mixed with the textures of experimental music and the energy of the dancefloor. On this occasion he presents Zangoloteos, his new LP, in which he proposes a hard sound search on the acceleration of local ternary rhythms of Argentina.

The Swing Ting crew have built a reputation for bridging bashment, grime, Jersey club and Afro styles in their high-octane mixes and releases, and the next release on the Manchester-based label is a celebration of their global reach. After a string of singles and remixes for the label, Famous Eno’s first EP on Swing Ting sees the Irish producer linking up with Jamaican vocalist Bay-C, Ghana’s rising star Bryte, grime talent Killa P – and, on the lead track, Jersey club queen UNiiQU3. ‘Make It Clap’ is a raw and dirty drum workout built for peaktime dance-offs, with UNiiQU3’s charismatic vocal pushing the energy into the red as she orders us to “make it clap”. We’re not going to argue. It’s the lead single from Music For Clubs, a six-track EP also featuring Trigganom, Gafacci, and Fractal Fantasy duo Sinjin Hawke and Zora Jones, and it’s out on October 19th.
