Young Canadian producer Jade Statues is an expert at fusing ethereal soundscapes with hard-hitting beats. The latest demonstration from the prodigious Academy alumnus comes via Paris-based club collective / digital label Bel Air. “Stealth Dive,” culled from Bel Air’s La Canicule compilation and premiered here, encompasses glistening layers of processed vocal snippets and synthetic sparkles, twisting them into club-ready shape with a fierce array of cyber-futuristic drum sounds.
