The debut EP by Finnish RBMA alum Joona Samuel, 'The Act of Disintegration', is modeled after the narrative arc of a novella. "Disintegrate", the record's first track, represents the setup before the confrontation and subsequent resolution. As the conceptual framework suggests, the track cleverly builds up tension, drawing on the interplay of jazz fusion and prog rock elements.
