Mamazu has started a new music label called "SABI” affiliated to  Hole and Holland, which expresses traditional music from around the world in a modern way.
The first new tracks, “Yayay" with its undulating bass and Intiche's guitalele, and "Rensou" with its cheerful horns and uplifting strings, will be released on August 20th. Remixes by Portuguese duo Ohxala depict their own folklore, Brazil's Juliano Gomez invites you into the jungle with hypnotic strings. It's a combination of Mamazu's worldview and the sensibilities that each has his own way of doing.

Siipi Empii, the newest album from Kemialliset Ystävät, out April 6th on Leaving Records, is at once a rhythmic wonder and a silvery noodle of mysterious essence slithering into the highest heavens. A lover of nature, Ryuji was born in 1983 in Ehime, Japan and was raised in a family who ran a piano school in their home. His own musical history includes a stint as a guitarist in a hardcore band. By 2002, Ryuji made a fundamental shift to electronic music, creating tracks to include techno, house, downtempo, ethnic music and rock under the name “O.R.".

Akoh-Kuro (夕暮れ。夕方薄暗くなりかけたころ。この時間にはマジムン mazimun (魔物)がよく出没するとされ、小さい子が外を出歩くとマブイ(魂)を取られるといわれた。)を意味する沖縄伝統の方言。

CROSSBRED formed in 2003, SYNTH SISTERS started in 2007, session live with improvised performances, interchange not limited to genre. A synthesizer player that leaves many live performances and sound sources with a unique view of the universe.
