Inspiration:
As a fan of the landmark anime AKIRA, I wanted to write something that captured the retro-futurism of the film, as well as the 80s neon-synth sort of mood that inhabits aspects of it. I wanted something fast paced and arpeggiated, and also something that was melodic and captured the tragic nature of Tetsuo and Kaneda's friendship.

This style of music that I create, is heavily influenced by the retro-'90s feel of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I am very much trying to recapture the spirit and tone of the original SOTN soundtrack with these types of compositions. Thank you for listening.

I always loved soundtrack albums that incorporated dialogue or samples from their respective movies. It felt like you were listening to the movie with your eyes closed, and seeing it in your mind. Stuff like Flash Gordon or Mortal Kombat (1995) that used those types of moments to create energy and hype you up.

That's what I was going for here.
