Radio Rabat focuses on the history of Moroccan music. It is divided to two parts. First focuses on the diversity of Moroccan music: its different languages, dialects, instruments and tempos. It features music by Houcine Slaoui, Hamid khmou, Naima Samih, Aicha Maya, Nass El Ghiwane, Zahra El Fassia and many others. The second part goes beyond the borders of Morocco. It includes adjacent and influential styles from the region such as Andalusian music, Jewish music, North African music and Arab classical compositions. Warda (Algir), Oum Kalthoum, Abdel Halim Hafez (Egypt), Fairuz (Lebanon), and Enrico Macias (France) are among the musicians featured in this part.
