It's a true honour for us to premiere a track off SHUBZIN VA004 let alone this absolute stinger from An Avrin. Shubzin has become one of our favourite labels not just through their consistently forward-thinking and high-quality musical output, but also due to their commitment to community and charitable causes. Similarly, An Avrin has become a label favourite with outrageous releases on Scuffed, Excess and Out Of Sorts. 'Mosquito' sees An Avrin blur the lines once again between bass-heavy UKG and the crisp breaks which the Lewisham-based producer is becoming renowned for. 

For their 4th VA, Shubzin are supporting Sisters Uncut a charity who have proved to be vital in the previous months rallying support and leading the Kill the Bill marches against new draconian changes to policing and prison laws. This charity challenges gendered violence by challenging the government cuts to a number of social and community/health based services. Austerity is a political choice with fatal consequences.
