MM PREMIERE 018 | Jõrgen Thorvald - Voices From Within [Nu Body Records]

For the sixteenth output, Marguerite Records is glad to present a new compilation. The A side marks the eclectic label shadow: ‘Condizione Umana’ by @italian-massacres, the duo composed by Violet Poison and Davide Pestillo, opens the release with an enigmatic VHS-tinged composition, sci-fi b-movie soundtracks inspired. A2 ’Zezuru’, a giant cinematic drone wrapped in distorted percussion by LIES affiliated German Army followed up by ‘Drone Thugs & Harmonies’, a slow tempo psychedelic-dub from Dutch’s Galactic Funk owner @bertram-croes. Closing up the first side is ‘Solar’, an authentic electro full speed track by the Croatian musician and sound engineer @zarkoff. ‘Lies in Disguise’ has an obscure synth bass sequence and textured vocals by KRI affiliated the duo Black Dot and opens up the second side, followed up by ‘Cage’, produced by the Italian New-Beat master @unconscious. After that, Florence's Synth-Punk band @zonautopicagarantita maintains the old-school vein with ‘Lifetime Shock’. The release is closed by the firework-ish beats of ‘Tory Gloryhole’ by @autumns.

“WOMB” marks Ottoman Grüw’s first long format release and debut release on X-IMG. This seven track album seamlessly integrates his varied influences, showcasing his adeptness at traversing the expansive possibilities of Industrial inspired electronic music. Ominous atmospheres and rhythms cross between EBM, Techno, Electropunk and Ambient, with infectious vocal elements found throughout. The album also features collaborations with like minded artists such as Prophän, Incendie and Lvcerate.

Besides stellar productions & DJ sets, Ottoman Grüw (real name Jean Grünewald) is also the founder of Brussels based Mutant Modality label, platform and event series.

JG Outsider (Spain)
JAVIER GÓMEZ a.k.a JG OUTSIDER is a Spanish DJ and music producer born in Alicante. Since the mid 80's he already started his passion for music and began his stage as a DJ in a very enriching and varied musical moment, influenced by the EBM sounds and the gothic rock bands of the 80's.
His time as a producer began at the end of 1992, which has led him to work with many national and international labels throughout his career. His music has been distributed all over the world in all his stages.

Today's guest spot is Chlorine Gargoyle from Sydney, Australia. Chlorine Gargoyle makes electronic music that sounds like it was recorded in the wreckage of an abandoned hospital. We are very excited about this intense mix which features some rare gems.

"This is a slice of what my mp3 player sounded like in the mid 00's,
I only had about 128M so they had to count. Re-shuffling your mp3 player after
a day of riding the train. This was the era of the home industrial producer.
Well crafted rhythmic noise had arrived. Aggrotech exploded in the clubs.
People were making amazing things with VST and little hardware and able to
share it easily for the first time.
When I went searching for the remenants of this community when my hard drive
died mid making this set I was sad to see there was few traces in the digital wasteland." - Chlorine Gargoyle
