One day in 1984, after tirelessly working on an original music track for a Fortune 500 company, Ed and Red got creative, and spontaneously wrote and recorded a scratch track of "Blow Me" at their studio on Farnsworth St. in Boston. They took a cassette to an industry party that night and played it for some people. The group went berserk requesting they play it over and over. The rest is history!

2007- Red released "The Best Of The Red Peters Comedy Music Hour, Vol. #1" compilation cd nationally on Oglio Comedy which featured various artists who were interviewed on his SiriusXM radio program.

2009- Oglio Comedy released Red's 4th album, "It's A Red Peters Christmas!, Vol. 1", a collection of outrageous, original Christmas songs by various artists.  

2010- Oglio released "Red Peters Presents-The Red Peters Summer Song Sizzler!", a collection of crazy songs to have good clean summer fun by! 

November 2010- Red released two new Christmas singles, “Have A Wonderful Hawaiian Christmas” and “The Christmas Gift”, a duet with comic, Margaret Cho.

September 2014- to commemorate the 30th anniversary of his original recording of “Blow Me (You hardly Even Know Me)”, Red released a new big band arrangement featuring a duet with Todd Rundgren on Ball Bag Records.

2015- Red and co-writer/producer Eddie Grenga won 1st prize in the Comedy/Novelty International Songwriting Competition 2014 for their song, "Blow Me (You Hardly Even Know Me)".
