I've been playing saxophone for 16 years and I have an alto and a baritone sax with a range of mouthpieces to select from. I have been singing for 26 years and can be found on sazphone1. I mostly record solos and I'm a Jazz trained musician. I am not a professional musician.

Manchester born singer/songwriter Liam Grundy tours the UK, Europe and the US playing solo and band gigs with his own brand of Rock and Roll Country Music. Artists such as Dave Edmunds have covered his songs and he continues to produce great classic songs year on year.

Working with Elvis Presley guitar legend Scotty Moore, saw Liam co-producing an Album ‘Western Union’ with Scotty and touring the UK and Europe extensively with him and DJ Fontana. In recent years, Liam has toured with artists such as James Burton, Billy Swan, Shakin Stevens, My Darling Clementine, John Otway among others and released 2 CDs ‘Richmond’, 'Houston' and 4 singles Christmas In Memphis, No Girl In Tennessee and Every Time It Rains (2020) 
Recently Liam has released 2 further singles This Is The Whiskey Talking and Somewhere In The Past. 
They will be included on Liam's new album 'Chorlton' for Hot Tomale Recordings, which will be released later this year.

Liam’s live gigs are a mixture of original material and well-chosen bar-room anthems. Whether solo or with full band, Liam’s strong vocals and great musicianship - learned from backing up many artists such as Steve Cropper and Jack Bruce – make for a great gig every night. 

Liam's regular band features Richard Sadler, Preben Raunsbjerg and Neil Bullock.

Formed in 2011 by Cork Trombonist/Composer Paul Dunlea as a creative outlet for his own composititions - The Paul Dunlea Group - utilizes some of Ireland’s finest improvising musicians to produce melodic and groove driven music fusing influences of Jazz harmony, pop, funk and R&B.
