Psychedelic Techno - Nowadays quite a buzzword, since more and more Psy and Progressive Trance producers came up with a technoish side project. Yet the actual idea of Psychedelic Techno goes back further, and differs from the somewhat slow and clubby approach of many recent productions: Around 2000, acts like Spirallianz and Midi Miliz (today known as Extrawelt) or X-Dream merged deep and psychedelic sounds into hard, pumping Techno rhythms. Although this genre never became mainstream, it never vanished - which brings us to Alic. 
 
Since 2002, Alic keep up the original idea of Psychedelic Techno. In form of their passionate studio and live project, in form of their popular netlabel Digital Diamonds (founded in 2006) and formerly as A&Rs of Horns & Hoofs Entertainment. All these commitments strive to combine Psy-Trance and Progressive Techno in a fresh and innovative way, but without the drag of getting too clubby or too minimal.

With a long background in producing electronic music and performing as DJs, Alic are one of the most promising artists in the progressive Techno- and TechTrance-scene nowadays. Redshift has been refining his sound for over 15 years, with releases on international labels such as Zenon Records, Techgnosis Records and Technophobia amongst others. Listeners can anticipate highly technical productions utilising a wide array of experimental sound design techniques that create a distinctive and unique brand of progressive trance and techno.
