Why do I do this?

     Rupert López, con el nombre artístico Ruperth y su sello discográfico RuperthMusic.

     A temprana edad, su querido padre, que fue músico, le transmitió este sentimiento musical desde que era niño. Su padre utilizaba la última tecnología en sintetizadores y módulos de sonidos, como el Moog Prodigy, Korg Poly-800, Korg Trident, Korg M1, Roland Alpha Juno 2, Roland D50, Yamaha DX7 y una larga lista…. esa electrónica le fascinó y con 12 años comenzó a experimentar con esos enigmáticos aparatos, sintió que necesitaba crear melodías y armonías utilizando secuenciadores, más tarde utilizando un Atari Falcon 030 con Cubase audio, así comenzó su carrera musical…

     En 1985 con 15 años formó parte como teclista del grupo “Surprise”, fueron muy populares en la isla de Menorca.
     Luego en solitario, estuvo creando composiciones como la sintonía de noticias para Antena 3 radio en 1987.
      Realizó unos sencillos de música de baile para varias discotecas, un maxi-single con el título “Alone" con la discográfica Ferpas Music en 1995, seguidamente otro maxi-single con el título "Crazy" con la discográfica Contraseña Records en 1996. 
     Quedó finalista con el sencillo "The pass of the time" en el concurso de maquetas de la revista Future Music en 1997.
     Colaboró en el álbum "Esencia de la Nueva Era" con la editorial Vaso Music en 2001.
     Compuso una BSO para la colección en DVD "Curso Práctico de Dibujo y Pintura" de la editorial RBA en 2008.
     Llegó a ser finalista en el concurso de Jingles de Vision Direct UK en 2021.

     Con decenas de composiciones sin publicar, con intención de sacarlas al mercado discográfico, a día de hoy, sigue en el mundo de la composición…
