Moody and reflective, dark pop artist Austel’s sophomore EP Cold Love is an intimate observation of human behavior from the other side of the glass. Craving connection with others, and with herself, Austel meditates on past relationships, identity and a perpetual search for inner peace. 

The ‘second chapter’ to her debut EP Unfold (self-released via AWAL in 2018), Cold Love sees Austel grow stronger - both in self-affirmation and artistic identity. 

Working side by side with bandmate, producer and long-term collaborator Adam Stark, the pair have evolved their ‘haunting and moody electronica’ (BBC 6 MUSIC) into a bolder dynamic force - interweaving classical, indie, electronica and cinematic influences to create a record that refuses to sit obediently within any boundaries of genre.
