Established in Amsterdam in 2017, Mea Culpa Records is set to deliver raw and underground house music sounds to dance floors worldwide. MCR is initiated by Mike Scot, how has many years of experience building towards an impressive solo-career as a versatile DJ and party-organizer. Together they are out to create a brand, one which brings house-lovers together under one roof to push the genre forward, like it so very much deserves.

Johnno aka “The Rhino” In the Mix
With over 25 years behind the decks, Johnno Lazetich — better known as The Rhino — is a dynamic force in the global underground house music scene. Known for his infectious energy, deep musical intuition, and euphoric sunrise sets, The Rhino has rocked dancefloors across the world, sharing stages with legends like Lee Burridge, Bad Boy Bill, DJ Dan, Justin Martin, Mark Farina, Lee Reynolds, Croatia Squad, Erick Morillo, and the Desert Hearts crew.
A 23-year Burning Man veteran, The Rhino is the visionary behind the iconic Golden Gate Bridge mutant vehicle. In 2021, he set the self-proclaimed world record for the Fastest Suspension Bridge on Land, hitting 44 mph across the Black Rock Desert.
His 2017 mix, Sunrise from the Golden Gate, was named one of SoundCloud’s Top 10 Most Popular Burning Man Sunrise Sets of All Time, drawing in a global audience. His grooves have shaken stages in Beirut, London, Belize, Aruba, and Kauai, as well as major festivals like Ultra Miami, Symbiosis, Northern Nights, Enchanted Forest, Love Burn, and Afrikaburn.
He now travels to South Africa each year for an extended DJ tour, performing at renowned events including Afrikaburn and other stops across the country’s vibrant underground festival scene. His mixes are broadcast in over 20 countries, and his continued international presence has solidified The Rhino as a true global ambassador of house music.
