She uses lyrics to express her experiences and many difficulties in life that are real and relevant to many today. These situations are conveyed in an articulate manner throughout her music of hard hitting emotional lyrics. Her rhymes are deep and meaningful and since developing her skills she delivers a powerful punch on the mic.

I need more bass!" Mass screamed as the room rocked. Lasers shrieked through the thick, smoke choked air, slicing through the wall of gelatinous alien bodies that bore down on the dance floor.
"Where's that snare?" Ossian cuts the midrange and throws a strobe grenade into their midst. Lives burst like boils, vapour gags and tears at the senses, jellied limbs flail and fail. Hi-hats pepper the scene, analogue bubbles randomly form and pop, ripping at the senses.
Something has made it past the bouncers, over the metal fences, a tentacle thrashes dangerously close, rips a hole in the speaker.
Nubalees grabs a keytar and within seconds has scaled the speaker stack and is soloing indiscriminately into the crowd. He pumps the pitchbend and leans into the screams.
Silence descends on the stage. Strangers From Birth stand, back to back. Mass scans the devastation , his hand firmly on the tom-fill button, wary of an encore.

With Archie Caine on lead vocals and Billie Wilde on vocals and guitar, this Brighton based duo bring you an indie/folk/pop sound encompassed within beautiful harmonies and rhythmic guitar.

Apples & Eve originally formed in 2010 as a duo with Eve Rose (Lead vocals, Guitar and Accordion) & Francine Perry (Drums). They both studied at the same college and discovered each other’s passion in creating and performing the same genre of music. It wasn’t long before Apples & Eve started to create a buzz in their hometown Brighton and were then joined by; bassist Graeme Ross (Laura Marling, Peggy Sue, James Morrison) and fiddle player Jonas Aaron (Not Now Bernard). Apples & Eve are now a formidable outfit who have gained a strong reputation for their live performances as well as being a talented, committed, and hardworking band.

Apples & Eve’s variation on Alternative/Folk has been influenced by artists such as; Devendra Banhart, Coco Rosie, Fink, Grizzly Bear, tUnE-YaRdS, Laura Veirs, Beirut, The Moulettes, Angus & Julia Stone, Billie Holiday, Lana Del Rey, Fredo Viola, Laura Marling, Mariee Sioux, Nick Drake, Grimes and Paul Simon which has helped to create their distinctive and endearing sound. 

As much as music takes a lead role in Apples & Eve, the band are also extremely creative and enjoy designing and creating original pieces of art work for the band. The ‘Dionysus’ EP for example has been individually hand printed using a wood cut on recycled wallets to create an original and natural feel. This is something that is very much at the heart of Apples & Eve’s philosophy with regard to making music and their own video presentation. 

Apples & Eve have recently supported Pokey LaFarge at The Concorde 2 (Brighton), Jennifer Left at The Pavilion Theatre, The North Sea Radio Orchestra at the Komedia, The Half Sisters at The De La Warr Pavilion as well as performing at this year’s Meadowlands Festival. They have also performed several live sessions for BBC South, Juice FM and Radio Reverb.

I produce Drum and Bass, specialising in Liquid, glitch and chillout sub genres. I also make Dub, Breaks and Bass Remix's. I like to think im experimental and am always striving to make my own unique sound. Music is a form of expression and the art of sound. I write, record, edit, arrange and master all my own music myself.
Iv been using music software for almost 7 years. Starting with Reason then moving onto Cubase before i settled on Logic. I also use Ableton, Garage band, Soundforge and occasionally Pro tools. Iv been involved in various bands and collaborations over the years.
A big thanks to Henry Tilk for posting my songs on Youtube and for helping with promotion. 
Massive Big ups to anyone who not only listens to my music but enjoys it as well. 

Ree has been writing original songs for the past few years, developing her songwriting and guitar playing. She has also spent some time experimenting with the world of synthesizers, writing some alternative instrumental/atmospheric tracks too. Having spent time learning production/recording techniques at Kidd Studios, she then went onto study music performance and is presently on an artist development course in her hometown of Brighton. She is continuing to build on her knowledge and experience on her own and with friends/other artists.

Ree is presently focused on her band 'Wolf Like Child' http://wolflikechild.co.uk 
Wolf Like Child started gigging on the Brighton circuit in March 2013. They have played at several venues and have been well recieved. They are currently taking some time to focus on writing/recording and hoping to get back to gigging within the next couple of months. But you may catch Ree singing her songs solo at the occasional open mic or acoustic gig.

Prior to forming her band, Ree was developing her acoustic guitar playing, but she has now discovered the electric guitar which she plays in 'http://soundcloud.com/wolflikechild' and loves the energy it creates. She plays a Les Paul style guitar with a Fender combo amp. Creating warm rich tones and kicks in some gritty distortion with her Jackhammer pedal, as she sings about love & life, sometimetimes with a socio-political edge. The overall sound of the band blends rock, folk, blues and dub.

Ree has collaborated with various other artists. Brighton's resident Dubstep DJ 'http://soundcloud.com/inasound' produced their first track, 'Runaway' which is online now. Ree wrote the track and lyrical content which then both her and Inasound remixed and added lots of bass. DJ Inasound took the track and played it out at a couple of venues in Brighton. A recent collaboration with http://soundcloud.com/mute-speaker, (also based in Brighton) resulted in a track called 'Green Bean Soup'. Ree wrote the lyrics and performed the vocal. The track features on Mute Speaker's debut LP, 'Smart Bomb'  released on his own label: imprint liquid noise records .. Mute Speaker ... Previously, Ree collaborated on a number of tracks (as her alter-ego 'Drumgirl') with 'http://soundcloud.com/heavyman' & 'Edgmonkey' on their project 'Darkmannaz' 'http://www.reverbnation.com/darkmannaz', producing ambient breakbeat/drum and bass. She also contributed backing vocals to two 'Tractor Countdown' albums 'Shedworks' and 'Dust Diaries'.

Ree entered 'THE PEOPLES MUSIC AWARDS' for 'The Best female solo artist' and the 'TripHop/HipHop/R&B' chart IN 2009 with her track called 'No time to waste'...She made it through to the 2nd round for the 'TRIPHOP/HIPHOP/R&B' category and was chosen by guest judges at The People's Music Awards in 2009 to go through to the 'final round' in the BEST FEMALE SOLO ARTIST genre .. Unfortunately she was not one of the 2 out of 5 artists to win the final round but she received some great feedback from the public and the music industry guest judges...
