In this Stone Seed episode, ZigMon shared his "Primerra" collection of deep, grungy bush techno from the Stone Seed catalogue, flourished by three tracks from our friends Digital Structures and Techgnosis Records. On the forefront of the “bush techno” movement, ZigMon intentionally delivers something unexpected and unique with each performance, compelling an emotive journey without the confines of genre. As founder of Stone Seed, resident artist of SixthSense Australia and archbishop at Church of Techno, ZigMon’s bountiful projects and creative outlets allow the space for him to break the boundaries of techno, progressive, house and electronica, generating encapsulating dancefloor dynamics with deepened drive, elated euphoria and a slice of psychedelia. Besides his many festival appearances around the world, ZigMon is also consistently traversing the club circuit, his résumé is topped by closing the Hammahalle main room at the famed Sisyphos, Berlin.

The sounds of the Käse Kochen sobriquet are an enigmatic & satisfying blend of various sub genres of contemporary progressive dance music. A homogenous amalgam of synthetic & organic sounds; instrumental, digital and found - resulting in something truly profound.
Originating in the forest dwelling doof scene of Northern New South Wales, Käse Kochen has ripened into an impressive Australian artist, gracing sought after slots including Rainbow Serpent Festival’s Market Stage, Shankra Festival’s Horizon Floor (Switzerland), Subsonic Music Festival and Elements Festival’s Main Stage.
A family artist of Australia’s Bassic Records, Käse Kochen has made his mark as one of the pioneering artists of the country’s unique “bush techno” sound and furthermore, of the global progressive techno movement. Between his Käse Kochen alias and birth-name project Harrison Downes, he determinedly releases on Bassic Records, Digital Structures and Techgnosis Records, along the way collaborating with and remixing the likes of Maksim Dark, Jossie Telch, Luis M and scores of Australia’s most talented.
Käse Kochen’s full length album “Encounters In Melancholy” embodies the concept and journey of the project. Encounters was revisited with a stunning 2020 remix album, leaving his audience eagerly awaiting it’s second remix album due early 2021, set to further intertwine Harrison Downes and his Käse Kochen project with the leaders of the psychedelic techno scene.
