Ree La'el (February 3, 1987) is singer/songwriter rapidly gaining notoriety throughout his hometown of Savannah, Georgia through his appearances on some the areas latest releases i.e., Yung P "Coach You" and Monk/Paccasso "I'm On. The son of a pastor and local businesswoman, Lael draws his musical influences from all genres from gospel to rock. Growing up La'el grew fond of the way artists such as Marvin Gaye and Prince used their music to convey messages through the stories their songs told. He credits them amongst other artists for the foundation of storytelling he uses when writing. When asked to describe his music Ree La'el usually sums it up quite easily with one word, "Genreless". "I don't want to be a one dimensional artist, my goal is for my music to span across age, race and social status," says La'el. Armed with a unique sound and a desire to push the boundaries of what we know as music, it is incontestable the world must get to know Ree La'el.
