Angus and Alex are the friends and bandmates behind Goodvibes Sound. Despite only starting to create music together in 2019 the two released their debut album “The Institute” in 2022 – a blend of upbeat discofied soul, indie doused in a heavy dose of psychedelic vibes. Inspired by 1970s California, hot tubs and beach bars, Goodvibes Sound craft groovy psych-pop tunes with a disco twist. A simple yet powerful way to place your subconscious mind in direct contact with the ‘universal vibe-o-sphere’, if you like. The duo are really interested in mindfulness and presence, and how to live in the moment, given all the distractions of modernity around us. Their music is set in the world of the Goodvibes Institute, a mythical research body exploring methods to develop consciousness throughout the world. Goodvibes Sound is the audio division of the organisation. Their album “The Institute” follows the story of two characters who escape from their busy city lives to discover the Goodvibes Institute. Moi Je, en realité, is the Lyon-based L. De Lassablière. He is finally back with a new EP – ’Reviens’ – that’s more disco and funk than ever. He and a select bunch of close collaborators have crafted this new release with the act of dancing firmly in their sights. The essence of the Moi Je project is still there, with its French electronic influences blended with the warmth of Italian summer sunburns. It’s a signature, poetic sound that has evolved over years of experimentation and practice, now here in glorious high-fidelity. Having dipped into his back catalogue with the retrospective 'Diamonds are Forever' EP German producer Tim Bernhardt, aka Satin Jackets, returns to the here and now with new single 'Take It From Me'. Reuniting Tim with London based singer Emma Brammer, 'Take It From Me' is another sophisticated and emotional disco-pop gem that tugs on the heartstrings just as surely as it will guide feet onto the dancefloor.

"Imagine when two people get together and the vibe is so good and everyone's having an amazing time, because it's fresh and directionless and mad and hedonistic and fun, but when the dust starts to settle they realise they're at very different places," explains Emma. "By the time they know it's broken it's gone past a point and it's too late to salvage and then instead of ending it amicably, we do these hurtful things. So this song is a bit about soothing the fire, reassuring the other party that, with hindsight, it was never going to work out - it was fated never to be."

With more than 25 million streams of his debut album, 'Panorama Pacifico', on Spotify alone Satin Jackets is one of the biggest names in nu-disco today, feted for his warm production and refined melodies.
