SXLA (pronounced: six•eh•luh) consists of Alexis Salas, who grew up through a hip-hop influence as well as a Latinx-cultured background. Throughout his adolescent life, he explored and found a love for Rock and, ultimately, Electronic Dance Music. While studying film at the College of Saint Benedict & Saint John's University, not only did he learn to appreciate different generations of music, but also found a drive for appreciating new music.

Trinh is a Minnesota based rapper and singer that is known for his melodic, energetic & crafty flow. His best & exceptionally talented friend, Amos, & him have been working together ever since their senior year in high school. Trinh's smooth vocals & motivational lyrics compliments Amos's unique & experimental style of beats. Trinh's influences on his music include, Eminem, Tupac, Fabolous, Usher & Bone Thugs N Harmony.
 
In 2014, Trinh & Amos released their self-produced album 'Live Learn Grind Earn' (LLGE), which highlights the determination, persistence, & encounters they endured through their college years. Trinh is set to release his next project in May of 2021 called 'The Layover', & it's a concept album solely produced by Amos. Recognizing every detail from the album artwork, song titles, content, & order of each song, they all tie into the theme of the project, which examines Trinh's life & experiences over the past five years. From life after college to chasing his music dream, & traveling the world, he incorporates all of his inspiration into his music. 'The Layover' brings you catchy, rhythmical, and upbeat songs just in time for summer 2021.
 
Trinh has been in the studio & is already working on his next EP with Amos, which will bring forth more of a modern mixed with old school rap hip-hop vibe. Aside from being on the studio working on music, Trinh has also performed at venues domestically and internationally from the Twin Cities, Barcelona, Japan & Australia.
