Mario was born in Hanover in 1985 and started djing at the age of 15. After his first successful gigs in his hometown he was sure that electronic music was going to be a permanent fixture in his life. When he turned 19 and with this mindset, he started working as a trainee at a local record shop ("Street Sounds") in order to expand his musical knowledge. In 2013 his focus was more on originals - releases on Gorge's label Katchuli, the new berlin-based label WellDone! and Colourful Recordings were following. But for sure he was still remixing as well - For labels like Peppermint Jam, Steyoyoke, Cyclic, Simple As That, Telekollegen and Bubbles On The Air just to name a few! Keep your eyes and ears open… In 2014, Mario Debuts on Gorges ans SKAIS new Imprint Re:Fresh Your Mind Records with his new Sundowner EP

Since 2007, DJing has been both a delightful hobby and a way for me to express myself. Initially exploring various electronic music genres, I've gradually developed an eclectic sound that brings together the distinct atmospheres of progressive house, psychedelic, house, and techno.
I typically play at private parties organized with friends. My aim is to create unforgettable moments by blending the energy of these genres and sharing the unifying power of music. Each set consists of carefully selected tracks tailored to the vibe of the moment.
For me, DJing is a continuous process of learning and discovery. Finding new sounds and sharing this enthusiasm with my loved ones is my greatest motivation.

For many years Re:Fresh Your Mind (R|Y|M) has been a pillar of subcultural development in the Rhine-Main area and on a national level mainly focusing on event organization. Though the events have expended lately not only in Frankfurt but also on a national level due to its musical diversity and generally speaking because of its openness towards changes in the scene.  Understandably Re:Fresh Your Mind is conceived as a platform for a subcultural exchange between artists and music lovers initiated by SKAI and his Re:Fresh family, which include a few well respected DJs. With the label-launch of R|Y|M Records earlier this year Re:Fresh Your Mind-basis enhanced its reputation in the scene and takes another step in its development. Therefore, Frankfurt based SKAI teamed up with Gorge, who is well respected for his solo-productions and of course his works with Nick Curly. You never know what to expect next, but be sure it won't be anything you can be certain about when talking about R|Y|M - Re:Fresh Your Mind.
