Always with a special interest in World music and South American music in particular. We started Shika Shika 5 years ago
looking for create a fair platform for emerging artist, joining music + activism. Our search still is find paths that merge traditional and electronic music.

In this Mix I selected many new music that I discovered lately. From nu jazz sounds, to traditional/popular southamerican music

Trushmix 238 presents Sanctuary in the mix!
After their move from Australia, Sanctuary have been immersed in the Berlin scene for close to a decade, co-hosting the former Altered Soul Experiment nights and founding their label, Life Classics. The label started as a home for their edits, then later branched out into a mix series and club residency at OHM.

For Trushmix they made a one hour and forty minutes mix. House, deep tech and late 90´s top early 00´s on the menu. Loaded with firm favourites and a number of tunes we've been bumping in the clubs over the last few months. This one hits like a warm breeze so turn up the dial and roll off into the sunset.

Swiss producer Ben Kaczor and Swedish producer Martinou have been tracing parallel lines across the deeper shades of house and techno for over a decade. What began as a connection through SoundCloud has since bloomed into an understated, sonic kinship — now embodied in their joint alias: Terik Hensen.

With Nothing Feels Like Before, the 31st edition in the Discos Movimiento mix series, the duo opens a portal into something restrained yet expansive. A meditative flow of dub-inflected grooves and minimal percussion that moves like breath — steady, intimate, and full of space.

It’s not a beginning or an end.
Just a moment. A shift. A subtle unfolding.
And maybe that’s enough.
