There’s no denying it’s been a time of deep reflection, on an individual level for us all and, of course, for our scene and its artists, promoters, agents and you guys and gals. In taking away our dance floors, and so much more, COVID nudged us to review, reflect, reminisce and re-assess, on multiple levels and in numerous ways.

As for us, we’ve certainly thought about the part we want to play in our scene going forward, reflecting on our values and refining our vision. More of this to come.

What’s been going on inside the minds of artists at such a challenging time has been a big curiosity for us. It’s therefore a huge honour to bring you this very special On the 5th Day feature, featuring a beautifully sincere and open written “reflections” from our previous resident and cherished friend, Svreca (aka Enrique Mena), together with a dynamic, raw and truly unique trip down memory lane from the man himself, in the form of an extended segment of his 2014 FRUE performance at Unit in Tokyo.

As you’ll read, Japan holds a very special place in Enrique’s heart and this night, and the creative freedom he experienced was not to be forgotten, for him or the music lovers fortunate enough to be there.

A pure, perfect, dynamic Svreca moment, oozing with originality and the Svreca flair we've grown to love.

In this first episode of the Deep Space Series we present to you, the Italian based Ness!

His pure, mind shifting sound is exactly the direction we want to go in on this new podcast platform. 

Ness has worked with labels like Phorma (Sweden), Synewave (USA), Dynamic Reflection (The Netherlands), M_Rec Ltd. (Italy), Informa (UK), Prologue (Germany), etc. and collaborated with artists like Claudio PRC half member of The Gods Planet, Deepbass, Attemporal, Rasmus Hedlund, etc. 

Currently he is running TGP - an independent platform established since 2010 with Claudio PRC.

Ness his sound can be defined as an exploration of wide range of deep and hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

Ness began his electronic music journey in the late 90's and his evolving interest and passion soon encouraged him to start a dj career experimenting with various genres – from trance to pure experimental. With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. In 2007 he opened his own record store in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) and 2 years later he founded his first label - Mono Records.
He is co-founder of The Gods Planet project and related TGP label with Claudio PRC.odcast 026 : Ness.

The highly influential yet sublimely grounded Ness is the man behind our 35th podcast. This is most definitely another very very special addition to the series so far, and one we couldn't feel more honoured to bring to you. Musically, Ness is considered a front runner for the deep techno genre, moulding an individual sound and personal style straight from the heart - a result of nearly two decades of music exploration and immersion in the form of DJ'ing, sound engineering and through establishing his very own record store in his hometown, Sardinia - with his very first label, Mono Records, following two years later. With an organic evolution in personal interests taking him from DJ'ing alone through to production too, Ness swiftly proceeded to capture the unwavering attention of the international techno community, with releases on the likes of Prologue, Dynamic Reflection, Ear to Ground and of course The Gods Planet, his second label launched in 2010 alongside fellow techno pioneer, Claudio PRC (together known as The Gods Planet). What we love about him the most we hear you ask... the completely addictive, deep, rolling grooves characteristic of his productions aside? His total dedication to keeping it real - allowing his creativity complete freedom to do its thing and inviting appreciators to join him on each phase of his musical journey, illustrated through his most recent LP, Trancemigration, released on The Gods Planet.
