For the fourth installment of our mix series, we are pleased to present a live recording of Sunju Hargun's set at a recent edition in Tokyo. As an artist, Sunju is well known for his output through his Siamese Twin records, which he co-runs and effectively put Southeast Asia (back) on the global musical map. Noted as a skilled DJ and producer who floats between new interpretations of classic trance, deep techno, local traditional music, and re-imagining Goa music, he is equally apt at exploring ambient. In this recording, he shares his takes on contemporary ambient music, leaning on his productions, traditional music from his home region, and more modern ambient and experimental explorations. Expect a journey across musical heritages and genres, delivering a mix that presents a unique fusion of diverse geographical music styles, rhythms, and historic tunes.

This set was recorded live at the beautiful community space Coppi in Berlin, where I was invited by my dear friends from the Brandwerk collectif. 
🐚 I took the opportunity to craft a sonic journey filled with some of my favorite vinyls, musicians, and labels ~ music I turn to when I’m at home, spending days reconnecting and realigning my spiritual forces. 

🌀🪷 It’s a trip to my safe space (which is the garden of my mind ~ where I prune the leaves that need care, check in on my inner trees, flowers and roots ~ aka my mental wellbeing)
I meditate, dance alone in my living room, laugh, sometimes cry, write, read, cook, question the world and myself ~ everything.

🧿 This mix begins as an invitation for us to start our inner visit together, exploring our personal safe spaces. May it guide you to some depth within and, hopefully, help you find the strength to face your battles and the freedom to be your true self.

Aspetuck & âsan present an ambient portion of a live improvised set, performed amongst friends nestled in a barn in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. The set spanned for just over 3 hours as the sun set & the sky turned to black. The two artists met at this very same barn, exactly one year earlier & have been honing their live sets separately for the last couple of months.

Aspetuck is an American producer & DJ fascinated by groove & rhythm as well as the hypnotic nature of the deeper sides of electronic music. Growing up in sleepy Vermont, without easy access to any inkling of a nightlife scene, the internet was Aspetuck's only form of musical discovery for those formative days. Years later, after living in both Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Aspetuck was very quickly drawn into the robust nightlife cultures of both cities that was so absent in the rural hills of the northeast. He is not only inspired by the current scene but also heavily inspired by genres outside of the contemporary electronic world including but not limited to krautrock, dub, new wave / post-punk, shoegaze, jazz, soul & funk. Immersing himself in both music production and photography, two creative outlets that seemingly complement & balance each other, he is quietly finding his voice with the help of a broad range of influences to draw from.

Âsan is a project of Hassan Siddiqui who is a producer, live act and DJ from the lower Hudson Valley in New York. Originally from Pakistan, Hassan’s output is intentional and with a meaningful perspective. A deep gratitude for his non-musical upbringing, his approach to his craft is unorthodox. Âsan has released on his own imprint Cellar Door alongside Aedi Records and Liminal Spaces. 

As one half of Cellar Door, a label and podcast series, Âsan is dedicated to exploring and sharing the vast landscape of electronic music. Cellar Door is more than just a project; it's a community and a platform out to explore deeper ends of electronic music.

Identity formation listening session - 15 - Introspective [by Camu]

F-on, the alias of Alfonso Pomeda, is known for his profound progressive sessions with long mixes, creating voyages through experimental music, ambient, and dubby techno. His productions are 4x4 experiments at a low tempo, incorporating field recordings, timbres, textures, and cinematic structures. He is a resident at Alpenglühen and Taiga sessions and co-owner of the label Antimatter. Additionally, he runs the Alpenglühen label, which focuses on deep and ambient techno, exploring the line between light and darkness.

Mareena, the founder of Unrush, met Alfonso at the Mostra Festival in Barcelona un 2023. Their connection through music was immediate, making it natural to invite him to Unrush…

For this month's Unrush mix, we're excited to feature Eric Cloutier - a true digger with a deep history in the scene and an ear for detail. His 90-minute guest mix flows through warm, textured ambient with darker, rhythmic turns: subtle, patient, and always engaging.

Cloutier’s path has taken him from Detroit to New York, where his years as a regular at The Bunker New York helped shape his distinct style: deep, body-oriented music with a strong sense of narrative. Now based in Berlin and a resident at Tresor, he continues to bring that same focus and depth to clubs and listeners around the world.

With a straightforward, no-nonsense approach, he has spent years honing his craft. His label Palinoia - named after the act of repeating something until it’s mastered - reflects that mindset: a home for stripped-back, dubby techno and lesser-known talent that fits seamlessly into his sets.

A true digger with an ear for detail — this mix is one to sit with...

In this first episode of the Deep Space Series we present to you, the Italian based Ness!

His pure, mind shifting sound is exactly the direction we want to go in on this new podcast platform. 

Ness has worked with labels like Phorma (Sweden), Synewave (USA), Dynamic Reflection (The Netherlands), M_Rec Ltd. (Italy), Informa (UK), Prologue (Germany), etc. and collaborated with artists like Claudio PRC half member of The Gods Planet, Deepbass, Attemporal, Rasmus Hedlund, etc. 

Currently he is running TGP - an independent platform established since 2010 with Claudio PRC.

Ness his sound can be defined as an exploration of wide range of deep and hypnotic techno and ambient soundscapes.

Ness began his electronic music journey in the late 90's and his evolving interest and passion soon encouraged him to start a dj career experimenting with various genres – from trance to pure experimental. With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. In 2007 he opened his own record store in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) and 2 years later he founded his first label - Mono Records.
He is co-founder of The Gods Planet project and related TGP label with Claudio PRC.odcast 026 : Ness.

The highly influential yet sublimely grounded Ness is the man behind our 35th podcast. This is most definitely another very very special addition to the series so far, and one we couldn't feel more honoured to bring to you. Musically, Ness is considered a front runner for the deep techno genre, moulding an individual sound and personal style straight from the heart - a result of nearly two decades of music exploration and immersion in the form of DJ'ing, sound engineering and through establishing his very own record store in his hometown, Sardinia - with his very first label, Mono Records, following two years later. With an organic evolution in personal interests taking him from DJ'ing alone through to production too, Ness swiftly proceeded to capture the unwavering attention of the international techno community, with releases on the likes of Prologue, Dynamic Reflection, Ear to Ground and of course The Gods Planet, his second label launched in 2010 alongside fellow techno pioneer, Claudio PRC (together known as The Gods Planet). What we love about him the most we hear you ask... the completely addictive, deep, rolling grooves characteristic of his productions aside? His total dedication to keeping it real - allowing his creativity complete freedom to do its thing and inviting appreciators to join him on each phase of his musical journey, illustrated through his most recent LP, Trancemigration, released on The Gods Planet. I made this more for me, these are all the tracks I listened to during a personally transformative experience in the Swedish countryside lying on a trampoline staring at the sky, but I'm putting it up here as well incase anyone else likes to daydream/meditate listening to this kinda stuff. I might do a few more of these when I get the chance, hence ‘vol. 1’.
