Giulia Gutterer, original child of Italy's Bolzano mountains and land of delicious cow’s milk, has migrated the cream of Italo to the centre of Berlin's club scene.

Equally obsessive about Hi-NRG, Downtempo, New Beat, Dark & Nu Disco she quests through the dirtiest depths of the internet and record stores for rhythms so inviting that you can't help but bathe, kick and writhe in the sludge and dust with her. She's raised iconic dancefloors worldwide with a style that is an eclectic swag of sex, humour and psychedelia. A collision of expansive beats and seductive evolving moods that have hypnotized Berlin's audiences at Berghain's Panorama Bar for Italorama, Cocktail d'Amore, Salon zur Wilden Renate, Revier Südost, and Sisyphos to mention a few.

Though she's “just a DJ, not a f***ing neurosurgeon”, she is the rock and caretaker of Wrong Era and Slow Motion organizations and parties all over the world; notorious, sweaty meet-ups for all the "not-too-hard tunz" music lovers.

We’re super happy to have Giulia Gutterer welcomed into our family, with her having this genuine energy from square one. At one point we thought of making a longer piece, but we decided leave it out there with her own comment:

“I had real fun doing it, I wanted to mix more different stuff and music styles, that I am quite into, as well as some new songs and forever favorites to top up the cake! Hope you can feel the groove, cuz I felt it <3”

' Angé makes her debut on Wrong Era with the slick 'Daydream'. A record filled with instantly signature bass hooks and celestial soundscapes that encapsulate her dark, driving, energy-fueled vision. This vision is evident from the get-go with the anthemic 'Daydream'. A pulsating and undoubtedly infectious floor filler with captivating, eerie vocals. The cascading arps of '5AM' follow this tone, flowing in and out of acidic synthesis and piercing percussion. 

'Kevin' is charged with slick post-punk and flashes of shoegaze in the guitar work, amongst powerful vocal cuts and metallic synth lines. 'Sans Nom' is the perfect conclusion to 'Daydream', with an ever-evolving bassline and haunting choral lines. The Estonian producer, selector and co-founder of Tallinn's renowned Dark Disco event series has created a distinctive release with elegant cohesion, leaving us eager for another dive into her sonic realm. The eight chapter of the infamous Slow Motion Compilation series, “Italian Dance Wave Disco Otto”, has quite some hidden gems to be discovered. Beginning with a track from Marcello Giordani DJ (half of the duo Marvin & Guy), that expresses a perfect Italian melancholic sunset (as the title also states), energetic, strong, but always poetic. Always following that “beachy” vibes we find The Caribbean House, serving a track that could last a century, and we would never mind. Electro hints mixing with deep and balearic vibes: ears glued to the headphones. Moreover, we have again Slow Motion queen, System Olympia with a track that could make even nuns sweat on the dance floor: beats and bass to die for. To close this chapter, you can pamper your ears with a angry balearic track from Gallo, not suited for the more weak hearts, that’s for sure.
