Having turned out for some of our communities discerning platforms including Brave! Factory, HOR and The MUDD Show we couldn’t wait for them to show us what they are made of.

ERIS (Enrica Falqui & Dea) - Trommel InSession 060

Dea is one half of the duo ERIS, she has joined our [dys]functional family  as a solo artist just over a year ago and like everyone that joins I ask for a piece of music where I can present them to the world, generally a Dj set so back then I asked her for a mix.

What I love about most of the artists with us, is that they are patient and understated, a feature that in a world of self entitled egos it comes as quite an asset.  I do adore those that take their time, specially to record a set, meaning it is more important to be and feel right about it than it is to rush through it. In a form of contrast to patience, there is Dea’s personality, which is pure  “fire” , you see, artists can have great mixing techniques and great record collections  but what we should be looking for is personality which in her case, she has in abundance.

In a beautiful world of polarising contradictions where patience meets fire Dea has recorded this special set for this special occasion, the Toi Toi takeover at fabric celebrating mine and her birthday, as good as a Sagittarius, as I am as she is, not surprisingly a fire sign.

Dea live at Hoppetosse. I remember needing a DJ to make a smooth and coherent transition from the more electro and with a higher BPM liveset from Detroit In Effect to a slowerr BPM and more straight and 4/4 based beat, and I thought directly of her to handle the merging role. Was not disappointed, have a nice trip.

Welcome Dea Dvornik (aka Dea, ERIS, Bad Flatmates)!

Dea is a Berlin-based DJ and producer with roots in Slovenia. With a foundation in classical music and a path that has taken her from Ibiza to Ljubljana and finally Berlin, her sound is as global as it is refined. Her sets are known for their precision, depth, and emotional clarity—thoughtfully curated journeys that speak to both the body and the mind.
Whether performing solo, as part of the duo ERIS, or the collective Bad Flatmates, Dea explores the dynamic tension between structure and spontaneity in electronic music. Her work bridges genres and moods, weaving intricate narratives through rhythm and sound.

Dea - MOJ Mixes 12

Hello all, 

Merry Xmas everyone! We thought about giving you a Christmas set and we chose one of our own and a very special recording from this summer. 

The setting was an usual one but under unusual circumstances. Think the Sunwaves beach stage but then think Covid and social distancing. This was a 3 days party under conditions so unnatural to us all. He did the very last set on Sunday and we have,  between organisers, crowd and artists, managed to stick together and via braving through conditions imposed, acquired what was, a remarkable ending. 

He started at night into the dawn and his set followed that exact mood, beautifully structured with such diversity that it gave us all that breath of fresh air and that no matter what happens, we will always find ways to togetherness and dancing. 

Personally for me, this was my last set with them before I left Romania to come back home to London, closing then a beautiful and amazing chapter of my journey in this country that taught me so much and one I love dearly. This artist whom I manage for so many years gave me a sent off carried with pride and fulfilment, from a hard working, constantly evolving artist and person, and for such, one that managed to unify this floor in ways this crisis sometimes leads us to think otherwise. If anything, this is a little reminder that no one will ever stop us dancing and believing. 

Thank you Herodot, thank you Sunrise for braving through this, thank you Romania.
