Oliver Hafenbauer is a Frankfurt originated and based DJ who holds a residency at the highly respected Robert Johnson club and not only has he been spinning there since the club opened its doors in 1999, he also has taken on a further role of label’s A&R and club booker. Hafenbauer is also in charge of his own imprint Die Orakel where you can find releases from artists such as Edward, Orson Wells and Christopher Rau.

C12 is a multidisciplinary nightclub and platform run by the Deep in House collective, located in the heart of Brussels. It's a safe place where freedom, diversity, creativity and alternative culture are protected from the restrictive and normative outside world. The project was launched in February 2018 and includes concerts, art installations, lives, club nights and exhibitions.

The Corona crisis is keeping our doors closed and dancefloor empty for several weeks now, with no hopes yet on new line-ups and crowds of enthusiastic dancers. But this unprecedented situation isn’t holding us still. Continuing to support our local Brussels and Belgian electronic music scene, C12 is proud to announce its own label with 10 music compilations dubbed Social Distancing. All artists involved are Belgian or strongly connected to the Brussels scene. Confirmed are Le Motel, Stellar OM Source, A.Brehme, Front De Cadeaux, Davy, OCB Casa Voyager, Cabasa, Techno Thriller, Orphan Swords, Different Fountains, Bear Bones Lay Low, Gols, Hadone, ... and our residents Session 4000, Kafim & Chris Ferreira. Compilations will also be curated by female artists promoting platform ‘Psst Mlle’ and queer culture collective ‘Benediction’.

Each edition consists of a collection of several tracks and will be released every two weeks, leading to a total of approximately fifty tracks. All music will be available to add on your favorite streaming service Soundcloud, Youtube, Spotify and Bandcamp. In addition for each track we offer a limited amount of 500 free downloads through our Bandcamp page, where donations are also enabled for those who wish to support us and the artists involved.

"Sergio Outeiriño is a Disc-Jockey from Ourense, better known as Mou. From the beginning, interested in house and techno sounds, he began DJing at events near his city. We are talking about Monkey club, a place of learning and evolution, having the opportunity to share a booth with great artists and expand musical horizons. At that time, Sergio, began to take his first steps in production placing his name on labels such as Rawcast or Too Rough 4 Radio. In mid-2016, with Monkey club’s closure, a series of events called DIAL opened its way, which sought to give continuity to the work he carried out and of which he’s become a resident until today. In the summer of 2018, he launched his own label dedicated to vinyl, Must Be On Wax, with the premise of promoting emerging and talented artists, positioning himself mainly in house sounds. This mix opens the doors to new sounds, in turn… shows us Mou’s B-Side, a 50/50 symbiosis with Salitre."

The Madrid-based record label, Sungate, presents a mini-LP by Madrid’s uprising talent, Trømmel. “Trophic Cascade,” a six-track mini-album, is Trømmel’s sophomore release on Sungate, and it’s inspired by an ecological concept that has stimulated new research within the field of environmental impact. 
“Plantae”, our pick for today, is forward-thinking techno in its core. Driven by multi-layered broken rhythms and rumbling bass-lines, “Plantae” sustains its energy throughout its journey allowing sharp noise synths to cut through it and make room for melancholic cosmic pads. 

“Trophic Cascade” mini-LP is coming out on November 6th via Sungate as a Bandcamp exclusive and will be available on all other platforms on December 4th.
