New Mutual Mix up on the cloud of sound! This one by our homie Olav Eggestøl, which is both managing releases and events for @mhostlikely as well as working full time as a producer and booker at Østre and Ekko in Bergen. 

Here's a few words he wrote about the mix:

"I recorded this in our studio in Bergen on a hazy, late and rainy Friday night. Most of the mix is under 110 BMP, and track selection from late 80s and mid 90s. A format I always like to challenge myself to do. I started out with reggae, dub and dancehall, and moved into street soul, hip hop and downtempo house. The overall idea for the mix was downtempo breaks and maybe a hidden theme of love. Hope you enjoy <3"

Albin @albindj , part of the current wave of Latin American-born, influenced DJs and producers currently dominating the underground scene. Hailing from Belo Horizonte but now based in Porto, he’s the co-founder of Yellow Island Records and a key player in FEBRE, a fresh collective he’s been getting stuck into. His mixes are a proper blend of trip-hop, house, IDM touches, and lush downtempo ambient vibes. But don’t get it twisted—he knows how to heat up the dancefloor too, dropping bangers across breakbeat, UKG, and jungle.

Back in the day, he held down a residency at Internet Public Records, where he brought through big names like BADSISTA, Zopelar, Etari, and others. Between 2020 and 2022, he was also a resident at Balamii with Yellow Island Records, catching a collaboration with Radio Raheem Milano nowadays
