Happiness exists in the present, not the past or the future. 

Thank you to LeVe(Lea) from Berlin who is the next guest for Parental Guidance 17. As she gives us the reminder to breathe, a reminder to dance and a reminder to not take it all so seriously. As we take a moment to reflect on the world we live in, what is happening, what we are doing and how we are feeling. 

What is Cathartic Release? It is the culmination of expressions, feelings and thoughts that weigh us down released. It’s the shimmy after you’ve done something hectic, it’s taking a seat after a long day or even that soup you slurp. Maybe it’s that one friend you have to tell what happened, nonetheless the key word is ‘release’. 

In a time where we have so much uncertainty, craziness and are sleep deprived, we need that Cathartic Release to bring us back to ourselves. Its blend of 2000’s feel good  house music, with Luckea edits to remind us of the good times and vocals that talk about last night or even the future. 

Dedicated to our busy lives, and the we need to plan ahead, Lea the captures importance of safe spaces and places of comfort. It’s a mix built for the living room, on warm summers afternoon or an evening of wine during the winter. So I hope you enjoy every song LeVe has put together.
