Music being his platform and his first love, DJ’ing is his art form. Every dance floor a blank canvas that allows him to express his creativity. The name Gareth Divine is inspired by the magic force of the universe and the harnessing of his gift. " There is a place for everything...and everything in place. GD proudly hails from Natal, Durban, South Africa and music has always come as a natural progression. At the tender age of 15, his talents were so advanced that he was able capture the attention of some of SA's top dance music DJ's of that era, his mentors who influenced and helped shape his career as a DJ.

Gareth stays focused on the momentum and direction of the world wide music industry. He keeps his ear close to the ground and does constant research to stay in touch with the evolutionary adaption of the music he plays. To Gareth the focus is making a difference, he represents an idea that making magic is real, putting meaning into his constant musical journey and respecting the scene his fans know and love.

It takes a true talent like Gareth Divine to bring you that live performance energy which is clearly evident in the way he selects his music and compiles his play list – always with a clear knowledge of the fan base he’s performing for. As the 2013 summer season opens following his residency at Minx, Gareth kicks off a new chapter of Sushi Sunday at Nicci Beach, as well as entertaining various crowds in some of the hottest nightclubs and SA's biggest events. As a well known public figure Gareth Divine is also recognized as a model and brand spokesperson, and plans on exploring other avenues in TV presenting, acting and radio shows.

Gareth Divine is not just a DJ who plays the music, but someone who lives for the music and his dance floor fans every day of his life. After years of experience, he has become a successful DJ and brand in the South African dance music scene. GD has been recognized as a brand ambassador by New Era Caps & Clothing, Eltoro Designs, XOGO Extraordinary Clothing, 69Slam, and most recently Feiyue and The Senate Hair Salon.
