SOUNDS OF GENESIS: 010 PATCHY

Xyde is a drum and bass producer and DJ currently taking the Drum and Bass scene by storm. As one of Phase Records DNB’s core producers and A&R managers, he is quickly establishing himself as a well-respected artist in the underground circuit.

Hailing from Italy, Xyde has spent the last twenty years dedicating himself to music. With a background in heavy metal, he made the switch to drum and bass and has gone at it with his full force! With a sound categorised by heavy, rolling and dark energy – his skill and flair have been catching the eye of many labels in drum and bass. 

Other than Phase Records DNB, you can find Xyde releasing on the likes of TrES-2b, Grid, Incurzion, 4 Corners and Innerground. 

With an already highly acclaimed discography and a lot of buzz around his name, he is definitely a producer you want to be having on your radar.

Wilkz is a drum and bass dj and budding producer based in Oxford. Currently a resident artist at Phase Records DNB, his style and tastes follow the imprint of the label he is part of. His sound is dark, techy and gritty. 

Having gained respect as a talented and unique DJ, he is now focused on learning production and is looking forward to eventually being able to add his own personal dubs to his sets and mixes.
