Few Italian reggae band do not need being introduced when they go abroad, but definitely Mellow Mood are one of them. But back in 2009, when they did need a business card, when the young band hailing from Pordenone was not one of the rising names on the Italian and international scene, before any video, contest, radio broadcast, Mellow Mood released an album they entitled “Move!”. Produced by Paolo Baldini, who later was to become the man behind their distinct sound esthetics, “Move!” was meant to be the first step, the first move. Released without label, distributor or press agency, the record was undoubtably successful. Two singles, “Only You” and “Dance Inna Babylon”, scoring together more than ten million views on Youtube, live shows so powerful that the Rototom Sunsplash awards the band best Italian and third best European reggae act. Now that Mellow Mood are working on their third album, “Move!” was remastered and is now released in the “Arriva La Tempesta” collection.
