MARK WONDER, nascido em Kingston, Jamaica como Mark Andrew Thompson, é um verdadeiro talento da ilha caribenha. Apesar da limitada safra de cantores da linhagem Roots na Jamaica hoje em dia, Mark Wonder se destaca como uma força musical abençoada com um raro talento. Sua contagiante e poderosa voz o coloca entre os grandes artistas e compositores que representam a música jamaicana atual.
Suas criações musicais agradam a todos, já que suas letras têm um apelo universal, seja entoando louvores ao Altíssimo ou cantando músicas de protesto e de cunho social. Suas alegres melodias e suas cativantes canções de amor evidenciam sua qualidade e dinamismo que tiram o fôlego de quem tiver a oportunidade de escutar suas músicas. Suas influências vem de grandes artistas como Curtis Mayfield & the Impressions, Sam Cooke,  Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald e Stevie Wonder, assim como de conterrâneos como Burning Spear, the Wailers, Bob Andy, Black Uhuru, Barrington Levy, Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, the Abyssinians, Israel Vibration e Dennis Brown.

Black Scorpio e com o passar dos anos de experiência, Mark Wonder consolidou um estilo único de cantar e hoje acumula diversas produções de nível internacional com diversos artistas de renome como Luciano, Gentleman, Capleton e Sizzla pelos selos internacionais como Al.TA.FA.AN Records, Addis Records, Bobby Digital, Irie Ites, Oneness Records e agora também com a produtora brasileira internacional Unidade 76 Records. A mídia local e internacional o colocam como o novo sucessor do estilo Roots jamaicano e os públicos locais, dos E.U.A. e da Europa, descrevem suas performances como eletrizantes.
Mark  já gravou diversos álbuns como "Signs of the Times", "Jeremiah", "Break the Ice", "Live at the Couple", "Victory: The Mystery Unfolds", "True Stories of Mark Wonder and Friends" e seu último lançamento "Working Wonders" de 2012.
Em 2013 Mark Wonder deu início a uma parceria com a produtora brasileira Unidade 76 Records, produtora esta que vem também se destacando internacionalmente pela excelência em suas produções musicais. Esta nova parceria continental apresenta o novo sucesso "Just as Before" gravado no Riddim "Cards on the Table", uma produção musical exclusivamente nacional com a presença de renomados músicos da cena Reggae brasiliense. O videoclipe foi a concretização dessa conexão com imagens feitas em Brasília, capital do Brasil e em Kingston, capital da Jamaica, que contou também com o apoio da Oneness Records.
