Another true legend of Reggae has passed away.

Well, legend is a word that is easily said, but only as we compiled this tribute tape we really realized HOW MANY unforgettable moments in the last 20 years we spent with the music of John Holt. From the first time we listened to Ali Baba on a tape that we often played in a car that we still had to borrow from our mum back than… Well I guess you all have memories like that. All those moments in all those record shops, when you dug out another John Holt single that just instantly hit you with niceness. The first time we played police in helicopter at a dance and the crowd went like WHEEEEEL…
Seeing John Holt perform pon stage years later was pure magic. When we finally met him in the studio, he really turned out to be the most humble and lovable artists we ever had the pleasure to work with, still seeming a little astonished by the fact that generation after generation of reggae fans continued to celebrate his work.
