O.B.F (Original Bass Foundation) are a French dub and reggae sound system based on the outskirts of Geneva. The crew, made up of producer & selector Rico, operator G and manager Stef promote forward thinking dub music.

Heavily influenced by Jamaican reggae, 90s UK dub and contemporary urban music, O.B.F’s sound is distinctive and versatile. They started off as an underground sound system playing at Genevan squat parties. The unique sound of Rico’s productions rapidly gained hype within the dub community and in 2006 O.B.F started putting on their own nights at "Le Zoo" L’Usine, Geneva’s biggest club. Since then, their notorious "Dubquake" nights have become a true institution in the European night scene. The interest around the sound system has grown exponentially ever since.

One of the keys to O.B.F’s success is the unparalleled energy that emanates from the whole crew. You only need to take part in one of their sessions to start feeling part of the family. This ability to bring people together can be seen in the list of artists they have worked with over the years : Sr. Wilson, Linval Thompson, Iration Steppas , Tippa Irie , Killa P , Belén Natalí, Pupajim, Charlie P, Biga*Ranx , Nazamba...

In 2014, O.B.F launched their own imprint "Dubquake Records", an independent record label focused on promoting future dub and reggae. Now with over fifty releases including O.B.F's two stand out albums Wild (2014) & SIGNZ (2020), the label has widened its horizons, producing and distributing documentary films.

YY is the symbol of Reggae music movement, from the root to the root, bringing his musical creation for all. YY was born in Benin Africa, Cotonou, a moving capital city, over the lake and the ocean, between Ghana, Burkina and Nigeria ... Growing up surrounded with the American Rhythm and Blues, the Soul, the Funk and the local African band of music. YY beginning playing Reggae to express the reality of the people fighting for higher future. YY create his FIRST BAND at Paris (France) with the pioneers of Reggae and recorded 'RELEASE TIME' a big album with the anthem hit 'RASTAMAN WANT'. Then YY decides to meet Bob Marley so he is the first African to go to Kingston to record at TUFF GONG Studio with all the legendaries jamaicans musicians. YY record 'STOP THAT TRAIN' supported  by the best of the Island of Reggae. Then the album 'SEED'. Produced by Aston Barrett and mixed by Errol Brown (famous Ziggy Marley's sound engineer) making definitively a link between Africa, Jamaica and the universal people heartbeat. The song 'MIWOA' in Mina language and 'FREE AFRICA', express the fullness of his music ... After playing in Europe and USA, YY is one of the only to came back to Africa to build up his NEW BAND : YY FORCE. With 2 drums !!! 1 bass, 1 guitar, mixing traditional sounds like bells, with digital effects ... Using his experience and his vision of music. Cree en 2008, Massilia Hi-Fi (MHF) est un groupe de musique, et un Sound- System marseillais aux influences Reggae et Dub.
Entre 2010 et 2015, le collectif avec l'association Backdoor, participe à la reouverture du repute Balthazar devenu le Molotov. Dans le même temps, MHF, grâce à l'association Musical Riot, est invite à jouer au Rototom Festival, Garance Reggae Festival.
Durant cette periode ils rencontrent : Chinese Man Records, Joseph Cotton, Taiwan MC, Charlie P, OBF, Blackboard Jungle... Ils se lancent dans la composition et la production.
Fiers de leur systeme de diffusion « homemade », d'une puissance de 20kW, ils assurent des soirees de 100 à 1500 personnes. Ils ont sonorises entre 2016 et 2017 des evenements tels que le Telerama Dub Festival ou le Dubstation festival, avec des artistes tels que : Kanka, Panda Dub, Michael Prophet, Vibronics ou King Earthquake.
Depuis septembre 2015, Dedoo, Mat Low, Mowgly et Mezcal travaillent sur de nouveaux projets. La sortie en juin 2016 de leur premier EP, « PART ONE » (telechargement libre) concretise l'etat d'esprit et marque le debut d'une nouvelle ere. Aujourd'hui Massilia Hi-Fi c'est de la sonorisation d’evenements, un home studio productif, de la scene, et une ambition de structuration d'un label.
