I had the honor to DJ an opening set for San Francisco's talented electro-duo and live act IXIANS (@zedd_centauri) who performed live at the iconic Vinyl Dreams (@vinyl-dreams-records) boutique in San Francisco. The theme of the day was "slow electro"; a sonic accompaniment to a grey, foggy afternoon spent in a subterranean space filled with friends, family, electro junkies and vinyl recordings. 🫶❤️🐅

Exactly one year after my 2024 release entitled 'Public Relations', I return with a collection of 15 new tracks that were produced between the middle of 2024 and early 2025.

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic synthesizers/drum machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, JX-8P, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to my studio like Oberheim OB-6 Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-707, MicroFreak, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

Based in Tokyo, Shun is a DJ and producer who transforms the organized chaos of the city into raw, emotive grooves. Which artists has influenced you the most? 
- In the electro scene, I’ve been heavily influenced by artists from the CPU, Drexciya and Dopplereffekt.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? 
- Nothing is confirmed at the moment, but I’m planning a collaboration project.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 
- There’s no specific label, but I’ve been keeping an eye on new releases from techno labels that are clearly influenced by electro.

What inspires you now to create music? 
- Conversations with DJs and producers I meet at parties.

What set-up do you use when creating music?
- Roland System-100, Korg Polysix, and various software.
