Returning to Saved Records for the first time since 2013, Berlin based soundwizard Santé delivers a quality two-track EP of subterranean, bass-driven techno.

“Ghostwriter” is a highly hypnotic, heady and underground tech cut drives with a relentless energy. Build around a stabbing bassline, pounding 4/4s and fluttering synths, the track locks into a magnetizing groove. As the track evolves, the German producer eases in some fuzzy, warm electronics and lush pads, creating a subtle interplay with the intense, druggy layers that lay beneath.

“Stay” is underpinned by a devastatingly simple yet hugely addictive rolling bassline. As the bass grumbles below, punchy beats plough forward alongside loopy FX and soulful vocals. Stripped back at times but showing a matured proclivity for shifting through the gears, the track builds tension without ever spilling over into chaos.

Set to cause serious heat, Hot Creations release the mighty ‘Gotham City’ from Rydim featuring the electrifying voice of Chicago house legend Paris Brightledge. The release also offers a sonic remix from B.K.R plus an alternative ‘Moonlight Mix’.

“How would acid vocal House for Berghain sound?" is the question Rydim asked himself when tweaking the heavy acid line on his modular synth. After hearing the track it’s undeniable that he’s answered it.

German born Rydim has been stirring up dance floors and releasing records since 2002. His music covers house, techno and everything inbetween under a variety of pseudonyms. His tours have included the most prestigious clubs such as Berghain, Watergate, Womb and Trouw amongst many.

Vocalist Paris Brightledge is renowned for his releases on DJ International in the 1980’s, the anthem with Sterling Void 'It’s Alright’ and most recently for his work with Paranoid London.

Following releases on Drumcode and his own label 'B.K.R Projekt' and ahead of upcoming releases on Whistleblower and Fina White, B.K.R joins the mix offering up his more stripped back and timeless techno sounds.
