Myself and 12 other friends recorded sets together for this very special #Earthdance #2024 event. Earthdance holds a very special place in our hearts. For a decade, I put my heart and soul into producing an Earthdance festival in Florida every September from 2009-2018. We were all very happy to have our Earthdance Florida family showcased on one of the days during this week long event.

My set premiered right after the Global Synchronized Prayer for Peace on September 21, 2024. So I was very happy to put this set together that was focused all around love, inner peace, empowerment and acceptance.

Juicy's Drum & Bass Set for Earthdance Global 2024

"BEACON OF LIQUID LOVE & LIGHT" is the newest Liquid Drum and Bass mix by Juicy Junglist that was filmed by Sunsets and Soundwaves near the Nobska Point Lighthouse at Nobska Beach in Cape Cod, MA on the morning of August 6, 2024. 

This juicy blissful journey takes us through the ebbs and flows of life, the highs and lows, that shape who we become. This mix is a reminder to be like a lighthouse. Chris Lund (aka Left/Right) has spent over 14 years working from Dallas as a producer, dj, installation artist, and college professor. His music has garnered support from Rolling Stone, DJ Mag, EDM.com, and Excision, including official releases for The Crystal Method as well as Stanton Warriors' imprint, Punks. He has charted in the top 10 at Beatport, Juno, Hype Machine, and received airplay in scores of countries around the world. 

With degrees in both music composition and audio engineering, Chris is driven to create. His tracks and mixes feature a unique blend of future garage, 2step, and uk bass sounds. L/R has performed coast to coast and internationally- including sets at Fabric (London), Burning Man, Lights All Night, and SXSW, plus his resident art & music FUTURE events with co-founder Trespass. The art of DJing is a very special one, and an art rapidly being lost in this disposable world meant for immediate consumption. I've always treated DJing as sonic storytelling, a way to communicate things we cannot say but all feel. The appeal of a rave for me is the communion that takes place between DJ and ravers, a synergistic feedback loop that sends an elevated, excited signal and receives structured yet free movement in response. Without one there is no other, a yin requires it's yang. 
But for nearly a year now we have been missing this communion, and desperately missing the stories of our co-creation. And so I was inspired to create a dance floor story, reminiscent of times we've gathered with reckless abandon to spin ourselves joyful, with a wink and a nod to the nostalgia for the raving of my youth. I hope you all can hear the story and feel inspired to move with joy, and experience a moment of self indulgent bliss...
