At the start of 2015 I was inspired to create a drum & bass podcast series to show off all the awesome new tracks from all the super-fantastic producers of my favorite genre of dance music. While I do love playing all sorts of different genres of bass music, drum & bass will always be my first love, the sound that got me into this scene in the first place. And so here we are. One year into this project, I've found this to be a most enjoyable endeavor. Hope you feel the sounds I've shared with you! <3

To help celebrate our 82nd Friday Feature mixtape we are featuring Jonah Freed aka David MacLeod. At a mere 20 years of age David is originally based out of Scotland but now resides in Manhattan, New York as of approximately two years ago so you just know this mix is going to be infused with that raw and gritty blend of hip hop and sub low bass heavy music to pay homage to the sounds and influence around him that inspire his productions and Dj sets.

David has been making and surrounded by music for about 5 years now and has supplied us a fire mix reeking of hip hop influence that is almost completely full of exclusive dubs that will definitely test the limits of your speaker systems! 

Unfortunately theres not much we can give away in regards to future releases apart from that 2017 is set to be a huge year for David and you can get taste of some of his releases set for the future in this mixtape, so sit patiently and hold tight for some incoming fire from Jonah Freed!
