Having stacked some impressive releases for the likes of Ostgut-Ton, Mote Evolver, Nonplus, M_Rec and more, the Helsinki-based sound architect’s name has become synonymous with top-of-the-range deep and hi-impact 4x4 DJ wares. Dwelling the subliminal frontier betwixt pitch-dark ambiences, laser-precise rhythmic mastery and an ever-astoundingly minute care for sound design, Samuli’s trenchantly hypnotic style sure lacks no floor-enslaving potency as his new mix for us attests to. Known for his brutalist compositions that merge the precision of chiselled drum programming with deep-end, otherworldly abstraction, Ø [Phase] gets the sci-fi-informed vibes pouring down in torrents. Reizstelle initially fell in love with electronic music whilst exploring the nightlife of düsseldorf and surrounding cities in the early 2000s. He had some unforgettable experiences in locations like the 'poison-club' or 'tor3' resulting in a strong addiction to techno, acid and house.
When deciding to start spinning records on his own, he was first starting out on the harder end of the spectrum. With the constant development of music, influences became more diverse and Reizstelle started experimenting with other genres and non-electronic stuff aswell.
Stranded in berlin in a twist of fate, he is all about making people have a good time with his music.
